Two old favorites return to the repertoire with Ron Nelson’s Savannah River Holiday and John Mackey’s outstanding freshman effort, Concerto for Soprano Saxophone with Dallas Winds’ principal saxophone Don Fabian, soloist.  We then pay tribute to the late David Maslanka with performance of his monumental Symphony No. 4.

We give the Meyerson’s magnificent Lay Family Concert Organ a real workout with Walton’s Crown Imperial and the world premiere of Andrew Boss’s Symphony for Organ and Wind Ensemble.  If that’s not exciting enough, the Epoch Percussion Quartet brings the beat with Dinuk Wijeratne’s percussion concerto Invisible Cities.
