In 2001, I wrote a piece for the Bands of America honor band. It is called “Horizon” and is all about the future – what is on the horizon for all of us. While all of us are bored – a first-world challenge, indeed – some of us are hurting, frightened and concerned about loved ones and what is in the future for them.
